Program of cash assistance from UNICEF Jointly
Assistance is provided to families, regardless of the presence or absence of IDP status, who are in any region of Ukraine, but on the condition that they have not received financial assistance from another international humanitarian organization since February 24, 2022.
Families that meet the criteria of the program will receive financial assistance at the rate of UAH 2,220/month. for each member of the household, but not more than five people. The benefit is paid to a bank account once every three months.
To participate in the cash assistance program, you must submit an application, indicating all the necessary information about your family. Filling out the form does not mean that you will receive help automatically, because the data will be checked for compliance with the criteria.
After registration of the application, there are two stages of verification:
- Technical selection. This is a check of the presence of all mandatory data and the absence of errors. If the documents have passed the technical selection, the head of the household receives an SMS. The message is sent to the number specified in the application. Technical inspection takes up to two weeks.
- Selection for compliance with program criteria. If your family meets the program criteria and has not yet received assistance from any other international humanitarian organization, you will be credited. After the money transfer, an SMS is sent to confirm receipt of the payment.
UNICEF sends an SMS from a short number 4224.
Importantly!
Do not apply multiple times. This increases the time spent on background checks, program eligibility checks, and delays payments to eligible families.
